Stories that make readers feel like they belong
About Luke
Luke Fogel is a writer, fitness instructor, and education consultant living in Massachusetts with his husband, Joseph, and son, Alex. A graduate of Emerson College with a BA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing, Luke found his voice in fiction and nonfiction workshops alongside his peers, discovering that his creativity thrives in community.
Luke had the rare opportunity to participate in a closed workshop with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar, where he discovered his inspiration to write about the extraordinary buried within the ordinary. This is still what Luke chases on the page. Small moments. Real relationships. The kind of love and struggle that readers can close their eyes and place themselves inside.
His current writing draws on his real-life experiences through a fictionalized lens. His writing reflects the same reason Luke teaches fitness classes: to connect with someone on their individual experience. He believes, deeply, that the right words at the right moment can make someone feel worthy. He hopes his own are some of those words.
